Returns and Refunds

The Salient Collection accepts returns for a refund within 14 days of delivery and offers store credit for returns made within 30 days of delivery. Please see below for detailed information.
All returns must be requested and approved through our returns process. Items sent back without prior authorization will not be accepted.
We want you to love your order. If something isn’t quite right, eligible items may be returned within 14 days of delivery for a refund to your original form of payment. After the initial 14-day return window, items may still be returned for store credit within 30 days of delivery, provided all return conditions are met. If your item arrives damaged, please contact us within 14 days of delivery with photos of the damage. Claims submitted outside of this window may not be eligible for a refund or replacement.
Items must be unworn, unwashed, and in their original condition with tags attached. Returns that don’t meet these requirements may incur a restocking fee up to 50%, or in some cases, be declined. The Salient Collection reserves the right to refuse returns showing signs of wear, damage, strong odors such as perfume or smoke, or alteration.
Once your return is approved, a prepaid return label will be emailed to you. A return shipping fee of $7.50 will be deducted from your refund. Original shipping fees are non-refundable. Items must be shipped back within 7 days of receiving your return label. Returns shipped outside of this window may be refunded as store credit or declined at our discretion.
Exchanges:
We're happy to help you find the right size or style. A few important things to know about how exchanges work:
- Exchange items ship once your original item is received back to us, and are subject to inventory availability at that time. Because we can't reserve inventory while your return is in transit, the item you'd like may sell out before your original arrives. If you want to guarantee your new piece, we recommend placing a new order right away and submitting a return for the original through our returns portal.
- If you'd prefer to proceed with an exchange rather than place a new order, we're glad to assist. Please note that if your requested item is out of stock by the time we receive your return, we'll issue store credit for the amount instead. Additionally, if an item received through an exchange is later returned, it is eligible for store credit only.
Refund Processing:
Please allow 5–7 business days from the date your return is received for processing. Once complete, you’ll receive a confirmation email. Refunds are issued through Shopify Payments and typically appear on your statement within 2–10 business days, depending on your financial institution.

- Final sale items are not eligible for return or exchange.
- Gift cards are non-refundable
- For hygiene reasons, bodysuits are final sale and not eligible for return or exchange.
- Once a package is marked as delivered by the carrier, The Salient Collection is not responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged items.
