We want you to love your order. If something isn't quite right, The Salient Collection accepts returns for a refund within 14 days of delivery and offers store credit for returns within 30 days of delivery.
Eligibility Requirements
To be accepted, all items must meet the following criteria:
- Postmarked within 14 days of delivery for a refund to your original form of payment
- Postmarked within 15-30 days of delivery for store credit
- Unworn, unwashed, and in original condition with all tags attached
- Approved through our returns portal before shipping; unauthorized returns will not be accepted
Items postmarked more than 30 days after delivery are not eligible for return. Returns that don't meet the condition requirements may incur a restocking fee of up to 50% or be declined. The Salient Collection reserves the right to refuse returns showing signs of wear, damage, strong odors such as perfume or smoke, or alteration.
Refund & Store Credit Options
When you start a return within the 14-day window, you'll be able to choose how you'd like to be refunded:
- Refund to original payment: a $7.50 return processing fee is deducted from your refund.
- Store credit: choose store credit and your return processing fee is waived. All store credit is issued in the form of a gift card.
Returns requested within 15-30 days of delivery are eligible for store credit only, issued as a gift card.
Original shipping fees are non-refundable.
Instant Exchanges
Need a different size or color? Our new instant exchange option lets you lock in your new piece right away, no waiting for your original to make its way back to us.
- A $7.50 processing fee applies, and a temporary hold for the value of your new item is placed on your card.
- Your replacement ships immediately, so you don't risk your size or style selling out.
- Send your original item back within 14 days and the hold is released, you're never charged for it. If your original isn't shipped back within 14 days, the hold is processed as a charge.
If the item you'd like is out of stock, we'll help you choose another piece or issue store credit as a gift card.
How It Works
- Start your return or exchange through our returns portal. Requests are reviewed within 1-2 business days.
- Once approved, a prepaid return label will be emailed to you.
- Drop off your package promptly so it's postmarked within your return window.
Refund Processing
Please allow 5-7 business days from the date your return is received for processing. Once complete, you'll receive a confirmation email. Refunds are issued through Shopify Payments and typically appear on your statement within 2-10 business days, depending on your financial institution.
If it's been more than 10 business days since your return was delivered and you haven't received an update, please contact us at contact@thesalientcollection.com.
Damaged or Defective Items
If your item arrives damaged, please contact us within 14 days of delivery at contact@thesalientcollection.com with photos of the damage. Claims submitted outside of this window may not be eligible for a refund or replacement.
Please Note
- Final sale items are not eligible for return or exchange.
- Gift cards are non-refundable.
- For hygiene reasons, bodysuits are final sale and not eligible for return or exchange.
- Once a package is marked as delivered by the carrier, The Salient Collection is not responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged items.
